   Looking at both newspapers which I have studies there are some similarities  and differences.

  One major difference is the layout and the producers of the newspaper .

The sun shows a range of colour such  as ‘red’ which is very attractive, whilst the daily mail sticks to the black and white theme.

 the layout is different  in the sense that the sun tends to have more stories compared to the 'Daily mail' which has one main stories and barely any advertisements. this was esssential because then i could relate to how the fonts and layout has been used to appeal its target audience.
  

I further went into researching on whether i could ,find any of the fonts used,but it was unsuccessful. However i did find out the top ten fonts mostly used ,which are poynter series,franklin gothic,helvetica,utopla,times,nimrod,century old style,interstae,bureaau grotesque and miller.
 In order to make mine different i decided i would not be using any of theses typos,because i dont want my newspaper to be recognise or look similar to every other newspaper.

Week 1

During summer, i decided that the newspaper i would construct would be targetted at young working class adults from age 16 and over. i then started trying out different layouuts on how i wanted my newspaper article to look like, the colour,the headline , the colour scheme. then  i had to think of what i would like to call my newspaper, and came up with the name 'Lambeth times'. this is because i was going to base my newspaper article on the my borough lambeth. so i took a picture of the town hall clock, which i believe stands out in lambeth. i also thought that with the title of newspaper the picture connotes with it.

However ,the reason why the title of my newspaper is so short is because ,after a long research on other newspaper article i came the conclusion that it would be inappriopate to have a long title as it is not that eye cathing and also most newspaper title ,are kept quite short and simple.

the mdia technology which i used to carry out this task was photoshop , because iti s very useful when it comes to editing. this is only used because this is the foundation of my production. then i shall use InDesign for further alterations.
